What details are needed for bank account verification?

  • Account holder name which is your full legal name exactly as it appears on the bank account. This should match the name on your PAN Card. 
  • Ensure that you are the sole/ first holder in that bank account 
  • Bank account number which is your full account number, with no spaces or dashes. You can find this on a cancelled cheque, your passbook, or a bank statement. 
  • IFSC code which the 11-character Indian Financial System Code of your bank branch. The first four characters are letters (your bank's code), the fifth is always 0, and the last six are numbers identifying the branch.  
  • Bank name which is usually auto-filled once you enter the IFSC code (click on get details).
