KYC rejections almost always come down to a small set of fixable issues. Here are the most common reasons:
Document image quality
This is by far the most common reason. Your KYC may have been rejected if:
- The photo is blurry, out of focus, or pixelated
- The document is partially out of frame or corners are cut off
- There may be glare or shadows
- Part of the documents may be covered
- The document is at an angle and hard to read
Name mismatch
The name on your PAN, address proof, and bank account must match. Small differences like initials versus full names, a middle name, or a different spelling may cause a mismatch.
The Live selfie did not match
- The lighting may have been too dark
- You were wearing something covering your face
- The selfie did not visually match the photo on your PAN or Aadhaar (this can happen if the document photo is very old)
